I've looked at the web sites for both. Playa Porto Mari definitely has rental equipment. While the web site for Kon Tiki does say it does there is a company that has a dive operation there with a "full service facility" either at Kon Tiki or at the Mambo Beach Resort - which is immediately adjacent to Kin Tiki Resort, so more likely than not they rent there.

Refrigerators include a couple free drinks and snacks. The beach gets crowded, so it is best to snag a lounger by 930 or 10. The beach service is good and loungers are very comfortable. Good customer service. The clientele is 95 percent Dutch. I'd prefer a more open beach with real waves, but many seemed to like this rock enclosed, man-made bay.
